Gait Analysis

Podiatrists are highly trained experts in foot and lower limb biomechanics and gait analysis. Feet and Motion use advanced digital gait and pressure analysis technology and can design custom-made 3D-printed orthotics according to your individual needs.

Footscan: dynamic pressure plate analysis
  • Footscan is cutting-edge modern technology that allows us to analyse your individual feet, balance, and movement to produce a highly accurate and detailed assessment which is undetectable by the human eye.
  • A visual analysis by itself only provides limited information. We use Footscan to combine both static (standing) and dynamic (moving) digital information to produce a more comprehensive gait analysis.
  • Footscan technology uses a dynamic pressure plate mapping to capture real-time data to analyse how you move and identify any high-pressure areas that may cause pain or injury. Footscan pressure plates use 3000 high-speed sensors to digitally map pressure and movement with incredible accuracy.
  • Based on this analysis our podiatrist can design custom-made Phits orthotics.
