Conditions Treated with MLS Laser Therapy
MLS Laser Therapy is particularly effective for inflammatory conditions:
- Osteoarthritis
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Bursitis
- Plantar fasciitis
- Tendinopathies, such as Achilles tendonitis
- Nerve injuries
- Sprains and bruising
- Muscle spasms and tears
- Myalgia conditions, such as Fibromyalgia
If you suffer from chronic pain or injury, laser therapy offers a safe, painless, non-invasive option that can help you return to activity without medication or surgery.
What is MLS Laser Therapy?
MLS Laser Therapy is an advanced form of laser treatment. Unlike traditional laser therapies, the Class IV (high level) multilocked system (MLS) laser combines and synchronises two specific wavelengths of light that work together to provide both immediate and long-lasting relief.
How does it work?
Health starts in the cell. Laser therapy works at a cellular level to stimulate healing and regeneration, offering a safe, drug-free, non-invasive solution for inflammatory conditions and nerve injuries. The MLS laser delivers precise, controlled pulses of light at two specific wavelengths. Laser is light energy. These specific wavelengths are combined and synchronised to deliver maximum energy which penetrates deeply into the tissues without creating heat. This energy accelerates healing by:
- Stimulating cellular activity
- Reducing inflammation
- Enhances blood circulation
This leads to quicker recovery times and long-term improvements. Treatment is safe, non-invasive, and painless. Laser therapy sessions typically lasting 15-20 minutes, and multiple sessions may be recommended depending on the severity of the condition.
What’s so special about the ‘M-Hi’ laser?
- The (r)evolution of laser therapy; High power, perfectly controlled and synchronised. In 2022 we introduced innovative laser therapy to our clinic with the 25w ‘MPhi’, and we’ve achieved some great results for our patients. But laser technology has evolved, and at Feet and Motion we’re invested in staying at the forefront of modern technology so that we can offer our patients the best treatment options available. In October 2025 we upgraded to the new and more powerful ‘M-Hi’ laser. The M-Hi ASA Laser couples the renowned dual wavelength delivery of the multilocked system (MLS) with the high peak power of 270W. The M-Hi offers a safe, powerful, and even more effective treatment option.
- Multilocked system: The patented multilocked system (MLS) technology overcomes the limits of traditional laser devices (LLT, Class 3b, Class 4). The MLS combines and synchronises continuous (808nm) and pulsed (905nm) emissions to strengthen the therapeutic effect. The specific wavelengths determine how deeply the light energy penetrate tissues, not just the power.
- Unlike many other lasers our multilocked system (MLS) laser is certified by the EU MDR (Medical Device Regulations) so you can be confident of its safety and effectiveness.
Advantages of the M-Hi MLS Laser
- Strengthening anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and anti-oedema effects
- Fast pain reduction from the first session
- Improvement of local microcirculation
- Shorter treatment times and fewer treatments required.
- Improvement of patient mobility and quality of life.

Patient Reviews
“I consulted Natalie after developing Plantar Fasciitis which was extraordinarily painful! She was very thorough in examining my foot, checking my posture and the way I walk. She prescribed orthotic inserts for my shoes, gave advice on footwear and also prescribed exercises to strengthen my feet and encourage healing. After a couple of consultations she also suggested a course of laser treatment to help my foot to heal more quickly. The improvement was marked and the extraordinary pain I’d been experiencing soon eased. Natalie was professional, friendly and kind throughout and I’d be very happy to recommend her.”
