Steph Youell (MRCPod)
Apprentice Podiatrist
Qualifications: Steph qualified in October 2021 with distinction as a Foot Health Practitioner (Level 4) training via Stonebridge College (registration number a317608). Steph’s long-standing career is in marketing where she holds a BA Hons degree in Media Production however, the pandemic reaffirmed her decision to train in foot care enabling her to help improve patients foot health and in turn their general wellbeing. She is a student member of the Royal College of Podiatry (44892).
Clinical interests: Steph is interested in nail care, removal of corns, callus and verruca treatment, alongside therapeutic therapies including warm wax and nail reconstruction.
Outside the clinic: Steph is a keen swimmer, in March 2023 she took part in the Diabetes UK Swim 22 Challenge where she swam 11 miles, the distance to France, to raise funds for diabetic research. She has three children and enjoys supporting them with their hobbies including Football & Rugby and can be seen holding the first aid kit at the side-lines.
